Upcoming Activities

Devonshire Park Tree Walks

The extremely popular Devonshire Park Tree walks are back in the new year! Lead by expert Andrew Chapman. Free and open to everybody, just turn up on the day. 1:00 – 2:00pm.

The dates are January 18th, 25th, February 15th, 22nd 2018.

St Ives, Harden and Marley

(Circular, 7.5 miles, bring a packed lunch)

A gentle climb to some excellent viewpoints on good paths including a section of the Airedale Way and the historic settlement of Marley.

Meet Howard Lloyd at St Ives Lower Car Park (off the B4629 Harden Road). Takes place Wednesday 24th May 2017, 11:00am.

East Riddlesden Walkers

An easy paced walk along the canal after which they meet in the tearoom for tea and cake. You are welcome to leave your car in the car park should you wish to drive to the walk start.

Meets outside the Airedale Barn first building on the left in East Riddlesden Hall. Every Tuesday 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Contact Champions Show the Way for more details:

Go:Walking Keighley is an exciting new project to encourage, enable and support people in Keighley to walk more. Don’t worry if you are new to walking, Go:Walking Keighley gives you lots of ideas as a new starter to walking. Join our challenges and see how you progress over time. You can start by increasing your walking as a part of your daily activities such as walking to the shops, to school or to work, enjoying a leisure walk to the park or along the canal or you could join a local walking group. Or why not try something new and join us on our foraging events, wild art walk or craft walk.

Go:Walking Keighley aims to give you lots of ideas challenges and routes to get out and walk more. Walking in a great way to improve health and wellbeing, meet people, enjoy the outdoors and discover more about your local area.
